The true mentor position is not purposed at creating imitations of yourself, or even at you being the prefect role model. With your humility, your own \u201crock-climb\u201d life story, and ultimately your belief in your mentee, you are the perfect candidate to accompany others on their journey towards self-actualization. Especially in the face of exponential VUCA times, when smooth rides cannot even be found in an amusement park anymore.   2. Will I be willing to start mentoring if I can get a few practical guidelines or tools? \u201dI need to know what do I say if\/when\u2026 \u201c<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. If I can use my unique style, skills, or experience as a point of departure, will I feel more comfortable? \u201c\u00cf am more of a \u2026.. type of person, but I can maybe contribute with\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. Do I get my rewards in life from the knowledge that I truly made a difference in the lives of others? \u201cI still feel great about helping\u2026..\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Can I possibly recollect being a mentor to someone in an informal way, without even giving myself credit or expecting any credit? Is it possible that I was a mentor to\u2026 when..?<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>
